How many HALO Laser treatments are needed?
HALO Laser treatments take approximately one hour per session. During the procedure, our team will apply a numbing cream to make it a more comfortable experience for you. Compared to chemical peels and fractional lasers, Halo Laser can provide faster and more significant results with just a single session.
The number of treatment sessions needed depends on the area being treated, skin type, and skincare goals. The Skincredible Dermatology team will discuss and determine the number of treatments required for you during your initial consultation.
What should I expect after HALO Laser Treatment?
After the HALO Laser treatment, the skin will gently peel to reveal new, healthy, revitalized skin. New layers of skin will be smoother, firmer, and glowing with decreased appearance of wrinkles, dark spots, and other skin issues. Most patients notice a visible improvement to the skin between two and five days following the treatment.
In the weeks following HALO Laser treatments, patients continue to see improvement in skin tone and texture. For optimal results, patients should avoid direct sun exposure and always wear SPF 30+ UV protection.
How many BBL® treatments do I need?
To get the full benefits of BBL®, it's typical for a patient to require about 3-4 treatments. The best way to determine the exact amount of treatments you'll need is to come in for a free consultation, where our expert providers can develop a plan that covers your personal concerns.
What safety precautions are being taken?
Our guests' health is our #1 priority. We strive to be on the cutting edge of customer service and safety. All patients and staff are asked to securely wear a mask while inside our office (a mask will be provided if you do not have one).

Who should get HALO™?
Unlike many lasers that only treat visible skin issues, HALO™ uses motion-tracking technology to see beneath the surface, catching concerns you might not even have noticed yourself! This means that HALO™ is effective on the full range of skin types and tones - patients of all ages and complexions can receive HALO™.
Is there any before/after care?
To prepare for your treatment, discuss with your provider ahead of time if you have a history of cold sores, regularly take blood thinners/aspirin, or have received dermal fillers in the last 1-2 months. In the week before your HALO™ treatment, avoid undergoing any cosmetic treatments that may be an irritant to your skin. We advise limiting skin care to a plain moisturizer, gentle cleanser, and sunscreen in the three days leading up to your treatment.
After treatment, your provider will give you personalized recommendations on safe skin care during your recovery process. Typical patients will continue the use of a gentle cleanser without exfoliants, a plain moisturizer, and sunscreen. Excess sun exposure and strenuous exercise or other activities that cause sweating should be avoided until your skin is healed.
HALO™ is an FDA-approved hybrid fractional laser (HFL) treatment for resurfacing the skin. The first of its kind, HALO™ emits both ablative and non-ablative wavelengths to exfoliate the top layer of the skin while stimulating deeper layers of tissue with thermal energy - this encourages collagen growth for soft, glowing skin. HALO™ laser is utilized in treating a variety of skin concerns, including wrinkles, sun damage, pigmentation, acne, rosacea and more. By taking advantage of dynamic thermal optimization (DTO), HALO™ is always adapting to your skin and delivers the safest, most effective treatment possible.

After getting checked in, your provider will give you the safety glasses you'll wear during treatment to protect your eyes. They may also apply a numbing cream to your skin an hour before treatment - this is to keep sensation low so you have the most comfortable experience possible.
Using its motion-tracking technology, HALO™ will give your provider a view of your skin concerns so treatment can have full and accurate coverage. The HALO™ device will then be rolled in even strokes over your skin until HALO™ indicates to your provider that the treatment is done. Most treatments last about 2 hours, and we will give you tools to help soothe and cool your skin before you get back to your day!
BBL®, or Broadband Light, is an FDA-approved laser treatment that utilizes Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) to treat a variety of skin concerns, including redness, fine lines and wrinkles, small veins and pigmentation. BBL®'s concentrated light energy heats a targeted problem site, such as a pigmented spot or a blood vessel, and encourages your skin to naturally heal itself by regenerating the cells that the IPL targets. Treated skin is renewed for a fresh, beautiful look and feel.

Is there any before/after care?

In the month before your BBL® treatment, it's crucial to avoid excess sun exposure or tanning, as BBL® may potentially cause blistering or discoloration on recently burned or tanned skin.
After treatment, your provider will give you personalized recommendations for safe skincare during your recovery process. Patients will typically continue the use of a gentle cleanser without exfoliants, a plain moisturizer, and sunscreen. Excess sun exposure must be avoided for a month following your treatment.
